Managed IT for businesses that outgrew ‘my nephew handles the computers.’

We run IT on the nights and weekends your business is closed: monitoring, maintenance, migrations, and after-hours support for the 5-50 employee company that doesn't need a $200k IT director. The same RMM and security tools the big MSPs run, on a schedule that never interrupts your workday. Month-to-month, leave anytime.

Based in Winter Haven, Florida. Serving Central Florida on-site, supporting remote teams nationwide.

A paid, no-fluff audit of your setup. The fee credits toward any work you approve, so it costs nothing if we move forward.

Sound familiar?

If you run a 5-50 employee business, you've probably said one of these out loud this year:

Our IT is 'whoever's free that hour.' That's not a strategy.

You started small and the same person who handled IT also handled four other jobs. Now you have employees, customers, and data — and the 'IT person' is overwhelmed or doesn't exist.

We outgrew break/fix but we're not enterprise yet.

Calling someone every time something breaks doesn't scale. But you don't need (or want to afford) a full-time IT director. The middle ground isn't well-served.

The big MSPs won't return my calls.

Enterprise managed-services providers want 100+ endpoints minimum. You have 25. You need their tooling and discipline, just sized for your business and budget.

Whatever brought you here, we've heard a version of it from another small business. Here's how we work.

Four ways we work with you

Tech Baker LLC operates under the TechBomby brand: evening and weekend IT for small businesses across Central Florida, with remote support nationwide. We work when you're closed, so the fixes don't cost you a business day.

After-hours + weekend coverage (Co-Manage)

For teams that already have daytime IT. We take the nights, weekends, overflow, security stack, and maintenance windows so nobody babysits the tools after close. Starting at $45/endpoint/month.

See Co-Manage details →

Monitoring only (Watch)

24/7 automated monitoring on every endpoint. We surface the signal and alert you; your team handles remediation. Starting at $25/endpoint/month.

See Watch details →

Full management (Managed)

For small teams without IT. We run the stack and maintain it off-hours — patching, security, and evening/weekend helpdesk. Starting at $65/endpoint/month.

See Managed details →

Projects + migrations

Scheduled evening and weekend cutovers: M365 migrations, network refreshes, Wi-Fi and camera installs, cleanups, audits — done without disrupting your business day. $175/hour or fixed-bid.

How it works

Three steps from "we're curious" to "our tech just works."

01

We assess

02

We onboard

Service agreement + first invoice through Stripe. 60-90 minute setup session — install agents, document asset inventory, configure backup verification. You see every access we have, and you can revoke any of it at any time. 30-day calibration period begins.

03

We run it

Continuous monitoring. Security updates installed when endpoints come online. Helpdesk for your staff. Monthly health reports per location. Quarterly stack reviews. You get back the mental space technology was taking up.

Why TechBomby

We're not the cheapest option. We're not the biggest. Here's what we are.

Real RMM, real tools

TacticalRMM agents on every endpoint. Zabbix on every network. Wazuh SIEM where compliance demands it. Same stack large MSPs run — sized for your business.

Real humans

When you call, a person answers. When you email, you get a reply from someone who can actually help — not a ticket number from a queue.

Flexible terms

Default is month-to-month — no setup fees, cancel anytime. Multi-year agreements available with negotiated discounts for customers who want predictability + lock-in pricing.

Honest pricing

Per-endpoint pricing in plain English. No "professional services" line item that doubles the bill. The price on the website is the price you pay.

Privacy first

Our agents monitor device health and security state — not your staff's screens, files, or keystrokes. Your data is yours. We tell you exactly what we collect.

Honest scope

We tell you what we can do AND what we can't. When something is outside our scope, we say so and recommend who to call. We'd rather earn trust than oversell.

The same tools enterprise MSPs run

TechBomby's platform is built on open-source and best-of-breed tooling that Fortune 500 IT teams use. We pay for the licenses where they aren't free; we don't charge you extra to run them.

TacticalRMM

Open-source remote monitoring + management. Every endpoint we cover runs the agent. Patch deployment, security baseline, monitoring, alerting — all from one pane.

Zabbix

Enterprise network monitoring. Tracks circuit health, switch + router status, internet quality. Same software Fortune 500 NOCs run.

Wazuh (SIEM)

Centralizes endpoint logs, detects anomalies, and supports HIPAA / PCI / SOC 2 evidence collection. Part of the Compliance + Security plan (in development).

Vaultwarden

Self-hosted credential vault. Where we store any credentials we manage on your behalf — strict access controls, audit trail, MFA on every login.

MeshCentral

Secure remote-support platform. Permission-gated per session — your staff explicitly approves before we connect.

AdGuard Home / NextDNS

DNS filtering for your whole network — blocks malware domains, phishing, unwanted content categories. Per-client policies for office vs. exec vs. guest.

These are real tools, not marketing claims. Every customer can verify what we're using, see our agent's open-source repository, and audit what data leaves their network. Transparency about the stack is how we build trust.

Tech Baker LLC is a registered Florida limited liability company. We operate under the TechBomby brand for customer-facing services.

Common questions

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Default is month-to-month — cancel anytime, no fees. We do offer multi-year agreements with negotiated discounts if you want price lock-in or budget predictability, but those are optional and customer-initiated. We will never force a long-term commitment as a condition of service.

What about my existing IT person?

The Co-Manage tier is built for exactly that. We handle the layers your in-house IT doesn't want to babysit — after-hours coverage, security stack, backup verification, tool licensing — and partner with your IT lead on strategy. They keep the customer-facing IT role.

Can you support remote and hybrid workers?

Yes. Our RMM agent works wherever your endpoint goes — home, hotel, conference, customer site. We treat travel-mode networks differently, so a laptop on hotel Wi-Fi isn't flagged as an incident.

How quickly can you respond when something breaks?

Standard tickets land in our next working window — usually the same evening or the next. Critical issues (production-down, security) get priority within that window, and we put the exact expectations for your plan in writing. A SOC-backed Compliance + Security plan with 24/7 incident response is in development for regulated clients.

We need HIPAA / PCI / SOC2 readiness. Can you help?

We are building a Compliance + Security plan for exactly this — SOC-backed monitoring, SIEM evidence, HIPAA / PCI / SOC 2 documentation and control mapping, penetration testing, and audit support. It is in development; reach out and we will talk timeline and scope.

Can you migrate us off our current setup?

Yes — that's typically a Project engagement (one-time fee or fixed-bid). M365 / Google Workspace migrations, network refreshes, new-office buildouts are routine. If we land you well on the new stack, you're a great candidate for Manage afterward.

Is your monitoring software spyware?

No. The agents watch device health (CPU, disk, security state, update status) — not your staff's activity. We don't read files, watch screens, or capture what employees type. The agent is open-source so anyone can audit what it does and doesn't do.

What's NOT in scope?

In-person visits outside Polk County and adjacent (unless on a Project engagement). Hardware replacement parts (we recommend, you purchase). Warranty mediation with manufacturers. App-specific training (Photoshop, Excel, etc.). Structured wiring beyond patch panels.

How much does it really cost?

Per-endpoint pricing on this site: Watch $25, After-Hours/Co-Manage $45, Managed $65, Compliance + Security custom. A 15-employee business on Managed runs about $975/month. Project work is $175/hour or fixed-bid. No hidden fees, no setup charges.

I'm just curious — can I learn more without committing?

Start with a paid assessment. It's a focused audit of your setup where we ask questions, point out what we'd change and why, and give you a written scope with straight pricing. The fee credits toward any work you approve, so it costs nothing if we move forward.

Ready to take IT off your plate?

Start with a paid assessment. We'll document your stack, surface what we'd do differently, and give you a written scope — fee credited toward any work you approve.
